The short version
Every tool on GetByteRush runs entirely in your browser using JavaScript. When you type text into a calculator, drop an image into a compressor, or upload a PDF to a tool, that file or text is processed on your device — it is never uploaded to our servers, because our tools don't have a backend to upload to. We simply have no way to see the content you put into a tool.
Information we do collect
Like almost every website, we and our service providers automatically collect limited technical data:
- Server / CDN logs: our hosting provider (Cloudflare) automatically logs standard request data such as IP address, browser type, device type, referring page, and timestamp, for security and performance purposes.
- Analytics (if enabled): we may use privacy-respecting analytics to understand aggregate traffic (e.g. which pages are popular), without tracking you individually across other sites.
- Advertising cookies: we may show ads served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this or other websites. You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings, or generally at www.aboutads.info/choices. We ask for your consent before any advertising cookie is set — see the cookie banner shown on your first visit.

Children's privacy
GetByteRush is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will remove it.
Your rights (GDPR / CCPA)
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict use of your personal data, and to object to or opt out of the sale/sharing of personal data for advertising purposes. Because our tools process data only in your browser, we typically hold very little personal data to act on — most requests can be satisfied by clearing your browser's local storage and cookies, or by using the opt-out links above.

We may update this policy as the site changes. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "last updated" date above.
