- Both documents are parsed and walked recursively, key by key (and array index by index). Every path that differs — a key only on one side, a value that changed, or an array element that changed — is listed with its full path, like user.address.city or items[2].
- Does key order matter?
- No — {"a":1,"b":2} and {"b":2,"a":1} are treated as identical, since JSON object key order isn't semantically meaningful.
- How are array differences shown?
- By index — items[0], items[1], and so on. Reordering an array will show as changed values at each shifted index rather than as a single "moved" entry.
- Is my data uploaded anywhere?
- No — the comparison runs entirely in your browser. Nothing is uploaded.
